How to order & Store Policies


We've gotten lots of questions about Facebook sales, and how they work!  Hopefully this will answer (most) everyone's questions.

**Items are posted Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8pm CST.  If we will not have a sale or have a special sale, we try to give several hours (if not days) notice
**We have three types of items--Ready to ship (limited number, size/quantity varies), Preorder--ALL orders of sizes we OFFER honored,  and Monogrammed/applique--limited by quantity (doesn't matter size--for example we may limit item to first 40 no matter size ordered)

**to purchase item, wait for the picture to be posted aroun 8pmCST and then comment UNDER the picture with the following: "size, email address, and OOL if outside of Louisiana--for sales tax purposes"  We will send you an invoice (via paypal--though you do not have to have an acct with paypal to purchase) for you to pay from (either with paypal or a debit/credit card/bank acct).

**before you email us about a missing invoice, please check spam/junk mail and your paypal acct (if you have one) to see if your invoice is there--sometimes emails are not sent, but usually invoice can be found in your acct.

**Items are either RTS (ready to ship) or Preorder (with an estimated ship date given).  For the preorders, we are given an estimated date from our manufacturer. Please note that preorders may ship  2-3 weeks later than originally stated. Unless there is a HUGE delay (MORE than 4 weeks after our stated estimated shipping date), we cannot refund items.  We know preorders take a while to ship, so please do not purchase if you are not willing to wait. We always orders extras and you will have the opportunity to purchase the item when it is instock and ready to ship.
IF you need item for a special event (birthday, vacation, etc.) please email us in advance and let us know.  If we can guarantee you'll have it by that date, we will let you know--and we will issue a store credit if it does not make it in time.

**pre orders are typically offered at a discounted price when they are up for pre order.  We offer extras we may have after they come in and typically the price is higher at this point when they will be ready to ship.

**sales are final so please be sure that you order the correct size!!

** Returns/Exchanges are on a case by case basis--if you need to exchange for a different size, you are responsible for shipping at that point (both back to us and back to you)  We cannot take returns for wrong size for refund, as we give a sizing chart ahead of time.  All brands run different and we know sizing is one of the hardest things.  We suggest taking our measurements and measure against clothing your child already has for the best fit.  We TRY to give our best advice on items (if they run small, TTS, big) but please understand that while some customers tell us certain items run Big, that we will have the same amount of customers tell us they run small, and the same for perfect TTS fit!  We will ship free replacement if we send wrong size. And if you get an item that will absolutely NOT work, we will try and work with you as best we can!   Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis.  If it has been more than 60 days, refunds will be given minus paypal fees and our shipping cost.

**There are NO RETURNS, EXCHANGES, OR REFUNDS ON CLEARANCE ITEMS**

**Ready to ship items ship within 1 week of cleared payment.  Clearance items ship within 2 weeks of cleared payment.  Preorder usually ship in approx 6-8 weeks (or the date given).  


**Monogrammed/appliqued items ship within 2-5 weeks (depending on date given).

**Post office "tracking" though is not really tracking! It is a delivery conf. # that is only required to be scanned at DELIVERY!   Our items are typically NOT scanned at our Post office (Mandeville, LA) and we find usually not at the local sorting facility.  The first scan is most often at your post office--which means your item may NOT be updated until the day before you actually receive it (if then!) PLEASE be sure to have your correct and current address in paypal!  We are NOT responsible for lost packages after they leave our possession (as long as your package is "trackable"). If you have a package that shows as delivered but have not received please contact the post office as we have NO CONTROL over this. We know the postal service can be frustrating, but please know (again) that we are NOT responsible for the package after it leaves our office. If you would like to purchase insurance (to protect you in the event your item is lost in the mail) please contact us so we will gladly add it to your invoice.  IF you have an address change, please email us with "ADDRESS CHANGE" in subject line.  Be sure to include name, email address paid with, your item, and invoice number.  This assures you that we can update your item with a new address.  We ship out hundreds of packages a week, so while we try to ship to your current address (if its wrong in paypal) please have backups in place in case it does go to your old address (mail forwarded, etc.).   We are NOT responsible for your item if it goes to the wrong address and that is the address that is in paypal.

**Monogrammed items are typically asked to be entered in First, Middle, Last initial form (FML), and are monogrammed in the traditional way of fLm (confusing??)--for example if your child's name is Anna Beth Cole, you would enter "ABC" --BUT we will monogram it as aCb--with the last name (Cole in this example) initial bigger and in the middle!  This seems to be a big problem with orders for some reason, as most people enter FLM.  We ask for it in FML as that is the way we enter it into our software (which then puts it in the correct monogram form) and cuts down on the mistakes when entering initials.  For boys items, you will still enter it in FML but it will be your choice of how you want it monogrammed: either with the last name bigger and in middle, or for all initials to be same and in order FML

**Also on monogrammed items, when you get your invoice, the monogram we have down will be on the invoice--IF it is NOT correct on the invoice, do NOT pay it--email us and let us know the correct way and we will send an updated invoice.  The invoice is effectively your "proof" and we will not refund/exchange monogrammed/personalized items that were wrong on the invoice, but were paid anyway. 


**On Ready to ship items, or items we have a limited number of--due to some people's privacy settings on facebook, only WE as administrators can see their comments.  Please do not try and count and see if you won the item, and be upset that you are not on winners list as there may be comments above yours that you cannot see.  We take screen shots, so there won't be any mistake!

**No cancelations 24 hours after order has been placed. Due to the nature of our items we do not accept returns. In the unlikely event there is an error on our part we will be happy to exchange the item free of charge.  Please read invoice carefully, as we are not responsible for errors on invoices after they are paid!  Please see our blog for all of our policies: http://www.sttichedandsmocked.blogspot.com/.
